Hurting myself with the contents of a huge box of treats from my very good friend Eva Penar . Wow, what an assortment of delights... even chocolate candy from Istanbul that is super yummy. Thank you Eva :-) I can feel the healing accelerating.

Working on geting comfortable in the new boot setup. I hope it doesn't last too long.
Home in bed after my doctor appointment. All stitches (at least 60) removed and the doctors are super happy with how well it has healed already. Now I have a support boot that I can remove to shower and exercise. You don't want to see the pics I took of the incisions. There goes my leg modelling career...

Netflix old episodes of The Office are keeping from going totally crazy from being stuck inside. Makes me laugh & feel like I'm at work - sort of anyway.
@egculbertson I am much better, thanks. Accident was on 11/18 & has been quite the ordeal but I'm so thankful it wasn't worse.
Time for meds & a nap. Been a productive day but I don't want to push it.

Am feeling so much better today! It's been a week since my operation and I can't believe the improvement! Drs. Boyce and Licht are amazing surgeons! I'm seeing Dr. Boyce tomorrow for a post-op exam so we'll see what he thinks.
Finally feeling well enough to look at Twitter. Cars are dangerous to human bodies! Am doing much better now.

Doctor's appointment today to setup ankle surgery date. I'm praying it's soon. I want to get this done and start the healing process. Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers! I feel so blessed having such kind, loving friends and family.
I have a new repect for people with disabilities after making coffee from my walker.
Wishing my granddaughter Jade a very happy 1st birthday. I'm so glad she's coming out tonight.
Will find out today if the next surgery can happen on my ankle today. I sure hope so! I'd really like to get these pins out and get the rehab going. Thanks for all the kind thoughts, prayers and visits. It really means a lot to me.
