Because of these things, I don't hesitate. My backups work, but I don't trust them to put me back thirty minutes ago before I created a giant mess. Or to help me find a fix in one area of the code independently of a bug I introduced into another. I can be reckless. That makes good things happen while helping me keep the quality of my releases really high."
