"At my last company, Revenue Science, one of the most educational things we did was to buy the Alexa 100k list, hire a bunch of guys fresh out of college, and begin cold e-mailing and cold dialing them until we had talked to a good chunk of the top 10k US sites" - dmac via Bookmarklet

search for "hulu" on FriendFeed and you'll find I'm one of 3 people that's ever shared a hulu video. - dmac
interesting -- though, of course that assumes people keep the "Hulu" in the title when they post, right? - Nathan Dintenfass

"Interesting how CNN coverage of Zopa does NOT mention it's competitor Prosper, yet all articles on Prosper(including NYT, WSJ) mention it's competitor Zopa. Shoddy journalism at it's finest." - dmac

"That article, regardless of your opinion on the matter, was horrible. There was absolutely no analysis of evidence, just Stein asserting he was horrified that other people made a lot of money, and others didn't make very much. He then asserted government had to address the problem. Unfortunately, asserting an opinion is an argument. It's a base regurgitation of gut instinct." - dmac
