A lot of effort to go to if you want pizzas delivered RT @LondonReview Jeremy Bernstein has his identity stolen http://www.lrb.co.uk/blog...
@FlossieTeacake I think my problem, one of many, is that I feel weird about imagination and empathy -- they're so... (?) presumptive, maybe?
@FlossieTeacake Oh -- nobody's, alas, but it seems true. Isn't it? Sounds plausible, anyway. That's the main thing
@Skygak I wasn't complaining! I thought it was great too (nothing wrong with Charlie Brown. Is there? I should check)
@Skygak with a bit of Charlie Brown thrown in
What they should actually teach in writing school: not "write what you know" but "don't write what you don't"
NOT putty, purty. Can't you spelt? RT @danielsoar: ah, putty. But damp http://yfrog.com/4fs8fkj

the most embarrassed bus driver in the world, with six buses behind him, couldn't release his handbrake until a passerby did it for him
RT @audenfan: In the battle's later stages, Tolstoy writes, Twitter was used by troops wanting to contact comrades elsewhere on the ridge.
@requiemapache Sounds pretty cool. But at least there's the accents
@davewiner Could you expand on some of the reasons? Is it what makes Murdoch think he doesn't need google traffic?
@moonjets Is this Italian or is it fake Italian: "Volete qualche superbo vino?"
@moonjets Would love to but can't testify to the cats' snouts et al. Perhaps you could have a play? And maybe @djezmo for the frogs?
@moonjets Fuck, @djezmo isn't on twitter
The new http://translate.google.com/transla... is spookily wonderful -- and translates as you type
@flossieteacake good thinking. at least it could help us figure out the volume of chocolate, including all the scollopy bits on the edges
@martinbright Astonishing! Moderator moderates, has father
Salman Rushdie has no interest in forcing editors to publish something they don't want to publish. That's nice! http://www.thebookseller.com/news...
@charliegould sheer genius, that man. We mustn't forget what a very fine biscuit it is
@moonjets The whole thing is a lie really: I'm sure there's more biscuit than chocolate. I can't, however, check, because I ate the last one
Could it be because a biscuit, in Leibniz's term, is a monad, and therefore not subject to division or extension in space?
My colleague @moonjets wonders why Choco Leibniz biscuits carry the slogan "more chocolate than a biscuit" when they are, in fact, biscuits
@pickledpolitics but was there a comparable poll before the banking crisis? feelings about regulation presumably weren't so strong back then
@moonjets Oh THAT question: thank you!
@moonjets oh, me??
@moonjets who, what, where?
Where did my nice retweeting feature go?
@turidemotix why do we want Murdoch to win it? and does he really want that fight, or is it more of a tease, as in: http://www.guardian.co.uk/media...
