I´m sure she needs some time to get adjusted, just play gently with her, and keep an eye on the eating. My English Setter only eats when he feels like it, and a couple of days may pass before he really eats again. And he almost never eats up his entire portion of dog food. Figured it out. She doesnt like bowls. I placed her food on a mat and she ate it all up in no time at all. She definitely does not like metal bowls. - mindless_cubicle_drone

Unfortunately, you don't know the real story of her past. She may have associated some fear with metal bowls or simply her collar hitting the bowl scares her. Sounds like you've got it worked out! - Paul Reynolds

We adopted a stray that we later found her owner had been MEAN. She would see herself in a bowl & not eat. Had to use a plastic bowl placed inside her metal bowl till she got used to just the metal bowl. - Zed
