Re: 2014 will be the year of the Facebook Ad as organic reach deteriorate - http://www.feffekaufmann.se/2014-wi...
"I think it's a really tough question. It could be the year when Facebook Ads explodes, but it could also be the year when the Facebook Ads #epicfails. I think it's okay that Facebook is monetising, but if lots of companies start to pay for exposure, then we might end up in the same situation due to the fact that our mental bandwidth as Facebook users are finite, a constant. Either Facebook shows its users more ads (risky strategy) or they don't (they just make it more and more expensive for companies). My guess is that we'll be seeing more of that later trend. But that trend comes with a long-term risk as well: If companies are forced to pay premium for exposure, they will be forced to throw "right hooks" instead of "jabbing" (Gary Vaynerchuck reference), i.e. asking for the sell rather than giving away knowledge for free. My guess is that we'll be seeing an increased focus on the company website as the central hub for digital marketing — a continuation of the trend that we've seen..." - Jerry Silfwer

Re: Is Dinovember strategic content marketing by Collecta? - http://www.feffekaufmann.se/is-dino...
"Interesting! Personally, I'm not too engaged in creating "hidden agenda" campaigns. Sure, the element of surprise is captivating, and the "reveal" holds great dramaturgical promise. But there are so much to be done in being super clear about what you're selling. My belief is that if you can be ultra clear in your pull marketing universe, you'll gain relevant traction from happy customers. However, I do agree that you need that little extra to push through those tight circles of attentions to reach new tribes. Looking forward to learning more about "Dinovember" from you!" - Jerry Silfwer

Re: #DisruptBerlin: Wibki wants to disrupt our browser experience - http://www.feffekaufmann.se/disrupt...
"I think it's an interesting service. And I respect entrepreneurs from Israel, I've seen very smart things from that region before. And I can see how it would be powerful to position as a service as the starting place for browsing the web. However, it's one of the toughest positions to take. Sharing my browser stats is cool, but 2013 I need more killer features. To become a starting point today, I think there has to be advanced third-party integrations with other services I use to really make my experience unique. And the statistical analysis of my web usage needs something extra to hook me. It's going to be interesting to see their strategy moving forward, they got a mighty challenge ahead of them. However, it's by taking on such challenges that you can change the world, so I like the fact that they're going for it!" - Jerry Silfwer

Re: Gästblogg: Så spinner du digitalt innehåll - http://carolinebjorkgren.se/2013...
"Tack, Jakob! No spin, no win! ;)" - Jerry Silfwer
