Wow. Incredible. Is this even legal? The US is such a huge place full of what at times seems completely different sub-countries. - EcoAussie via twhirl

"Wait a minute! This tells us a lot about Palin that we didn't know before: 1. We now know what she actually reads to stay informed (something Couric couldn't get out of her) 2. We now know that she not only speaks out of context, but she reads that way too 3. We now know that, yes, her squeeky voice CAN get more annoying" - Ken Nadreau

"Well rather than sitting there "looking bad," why not do what many conservatives are doing and come on over to Obama's side. If you vote for someone who "claims" to be conservative, but obviously in your own mind, isn't, aren't you voting against your own principles? Wouldn't you be guilty by association if you continue to back someone who is hijacking your party? The door's open friend :)" - Ken Nadreau

"Anyone count how many time Palin said the word "also"? Being a writer and public speaker, when people do stuff like that, it really irks me. It's as bad as "umms and ahhs"." - Ken Nadreau

"I can appreciate the media trying to be fair to both sides. In days gone by, that meant simply equal air time. But now, while trying to mask the screw ups of certain people, they've actually reached the point where the American people are left out of the equation. The news media is supposed to help us make "an educated decision" (their own words) on this important election process. Protecting candidates and scaling back the truth isn't doing that. Oh how I long for the day when news was news and stupid human tricks like Watergate were exposed!" - Ken Nadreau

"You know, the news media is supposed to be the eyes and ears of the American PEOPLE, not a kiss ass for a whining candidate who lies his way through everything and is well on his way to a nursing home. What happened to reporting the facts? FactCheck can do it, even David Letterman can do it. What ever happened to the Watergate reporting style that tells it like it is? If someone is a lying heap of manure, then that should be pointed out to the people so we do get fooled and screwed again. Wake up Tom and stop being a pistol whipped pansy." - Ken Nadreau
Tom probably figures that since McCain is part of "The Greatest Generation" he has to be good. That Obama is just a young whipper snapper! - Rebecca Briggs
