Hi, I'm Iain - Musician (Jesus Jones) Broadcaster (NME Radio, used to be Xfm) Social Media bod (shadowglobe.com) and Blogger (Westway/Down With Tractors) This room is intended to be a parallel life on friendfeed for my mp3 blog, i'll post links to the mp3's here, and you can enjoy, comment, and spread the word as you so wish.....
Hello Iain et al, if you enjoyed the Boys Wonder stuff Iain posted then you can express interest at my link below where an ex-member of Boys Wonder is threatening to upload some unreleased tracks etc. This isn't an advert for my site by the way, more a desire to hear more Boys Wonder ! :) - http://www.iamnotthebeatles.com/...
... to upload some unreleased tracks. This isn't an advert for my site by the way, more a desire to hear some more Boys Wonder ! So if you feel same go ahead! There is a site this chap has also set up now at http://www.boyswonder.co.uk - which also links to Down With Tractors (ie your two blog reviews)

All mp3's previous to Cozy Powell were on Fileden (which i'm no longer using). so if anyone needs still needs to be able to download a specific song, let me know.
Right, some more JJ rare stuff, this time it's a radio version of WWYK, recorded the day before our first-ever US gig in 1989. This is classic Liquidiser-era S950 wig-out, and I love the Roland D-10 bongo presets in the middle...SO cheesy, but somehow, it works. That's me, screaming my head off in the breakdown. If there are any sample-spotters out there, you get some major bonus points for working out exactly where the acidic tweeting noises come from :)

OK, here's a little treat (of sorts) for my DWT room on FF...it's a demo of the song which would become "Damn Good At This".... I've always loved this more than the finished version! Was recorded on a 4-track, in Mike's bedroom in Dollis Hill, London, in 1989.

Well, I hope this will work out as a friendfeed room, I don't think it'll replace the actual blog, but i'd like to hope it can be an interesting adjunct. Let me know what you think. For those of you who haven't seen the mp3 blog - this file is a recording of The Jesus And Mary Chain at the ICA in London, in December 1984. For me, it's my favourite gig of all time. 20 minutes of insane feedback action! Enjoy!
