Wondering whether my flood of supplementary links to the hashtag stream of a branded public webinar (#twitterprise from @socialtext) were helpful or annoying...
The only other links I saw were from the presenters referring to things they'd brought up on the call, and those are obviously more directly relevant to the topic.

This is where FriendFeed's "likes" would have been very useful. It's very "cheap" and easy feedback. It gives you some sense if you're providing value or merely being noisy (in the eyes of others). Likes in this sense are the virtual answer to smiling back at someone when he says something, or looking the other way.

Good point, thanks for sharing. "Like" is certainly easier and lower pressure than replying or retweeting. I have often measured my blog posts by their [Like]s.

And on that note, my posts with "FriendFeed" in the title invariably get the most likes, but I try not to return to that well too often.
