Set Up Remote Desktop Web Connection with Windows XP - http://www.microsoft.com/windows...
"The first step in enabling Remote Desktop Web Connection is to install the necessary software on the host computer. Remote Desktop Web Connection is an optional World Wide Web Service component of Internet Information Services (IIS), which is included by default in Windows XP Professional. IIS responds to requests from a Web browser. Have your Windows XP Professional CD handy, and follow these steps:" - Daniel J. Pritchett from Bookmarklet
PDC day two: Silverlight 4 and a free laptop - http://www.itwriting.com/blog...
"Tim, you indicate that H.264 is supported — but is that for streaming from a server, or to a server (e.g., from a webcam)? In other words, I still haven’t found anything anywhere which indicates how it might be possible to write a video chat application with Silverlight 4. Does anyone have any guidance there?" - Daniel J. Pritchett

Why do so many pro baseball players have August birthdays? - By Greg Spira - Slate Magazine
"In almost every American youth league, the oldest players are the ones born in August, and the youngest are those with July birthdays. For example, someone born on July 31, 1990, would almost certainly have been the youngest player on his youth team in 2001, his first year playing in the 11-and-12-year-olds league, and of average age in 2002, his second year in the same league. Someone born on Aug. 1, 1989, by contrast, would have been of average age in 2001, his first year playing in the 11-and-12-year-olds division, and would almost certainly be the oldest player in the league in 2002." - Daniel J. The magical date of Aug. 1 gives a strong hint as to the explanation for this phenomenon. For more than 55 years, July 31 has been the age-cutoff date used by virtually all nonschool-affiliated baseball leagues in the United States. "The wildest part of yesterday's keynote was when @salesforce tweeted "Why is there not a Twitter for the enterprise?" Good thing I wasn't drinking coffee when I read that! Clearly what they meant to say was "We don't want to be left out of the enterprise microblogging market". Benioff is already on record having an interest in buying Yammer back in 2008." - Daniel J.
