The two horses in my FriendFeed Bike Rally stable. I use them alternately so that I won't completely forget one riding style or the other. Both are quite different from the traditional road bike I rode for most of my adult years.

And don't anyone DARE make fun of my slightly sissy-ish panniers. They're for getting the groceries, so I only use them for a few blocks each way. And I'm secure enough in my manly man-ness to do so. So there! (And they only cost me $20 total! Yes, I'm cheap!)

Oh, nothing unmanly about panniers in general. These just have a print fabric pattern that may seem more "metrosexual" than I would prefer. But I can live with it. #probablymyhangup

Also, heretofore I had not provided my steeds with their own unique appellations, and thus I fear that--despite their obvious differences--they may have experienced a certain amount of 'identity confusion'... therefore, I shall forever more refer to them as "Frank" and "Ernest" (Frank is on the right, Ernest on the left.) This is, I think, indicative of my approach to biking in recent years. I have had to be 'Frank' with myself and recognize that i will no longer be a speed racer, and I strive to be 'Ernest' in my efforts to persevere, even when I really don't feel up to it.
