I have assisted a couple of students with their school projects by providing them with info about daylight saving in south east queensland

This week i have answered a number of email enquiries regarding daylight saving and why its important for south east queensland to adopt it

Just finished our exec meeting - very productive! We are actively making sure we gain daylight saving in south east queensland!

Premier bligh is quoted in todays paper stating "real change is often difficult". If only she would apply this to daylight saving within SEQ

On the sunshine coast where a number of locals r frustrated & tourists dont understand y we dont have daylight saving in sth east queensland

Exactly why the issue of daylight saving within qld is geographic and why it suits SEQ and doesnt north-west qld

Have been in townsville & experienced sunrises over half an hour after brisbane sunsets 20 mins after...& its only mid october!

I think the issue of daylight saving within qld may have been left for so long that it has been overcooked! ;)

I find it frustrating to see the word 'live' wrongly used on tv, when they should actually say 'delayed by an hour' because of no DST in SEQ
