As a recruiter, I think it's definitely worth knowing that the distinction is meaningful for Sr. Web Developers.

I for one, would primarily be interested in roles involving web apps and less interested web sites.

No, only enough to ask the right questions of employers and prospects to find the right fit for both parties.

There's certainly going to be a fair amount of abuse, misuse and/or misinterpretation of the terms as with other web terms (Web2.0)

Good news. Last I checked it wasn't on your radar yet. So far 1Password is the only extension I'm really missing.

I'm probably slightly biased. I've been primarily a "web app" developer since '03 and did websites (and pages) before that.

Most large scale websites have databases behind them. Web apps are activity driven, not content driven. Think Gmail, Photoshop.com

Have you guys made any progress on Chrome support? With extension support nearing, you guys are the first thing I'm looking for.

I've been running Chrome as my main browser for several months now and love it. Exec 1Password when I need it. Miss Cmd-\ though.

Once I tried reading one of my Software Engineering texts in lieu of a bedtime story. (Didn't fly.) Should have tried MATLAB code. :)
