So those of you who like FriendFeed better than Twitter . . . why?
Space, threaded conversations, integrated search, captures it all, speed, bookmarklet shares images, imaginary friend feature. Too many to list. - Steve Rubel
easier to have a discussion; it's like RSS for social networks - everything comes to you - acedanger
Wouldn't say I like it better than Twitter...I think they can co-exist quite well, actually. - Mack D. Male
Twitter is reading a book. FriendFeed is working in a bookstore. Both are good. - Noah Carter
Agreed both are good. Wouldn't necessarily say one is better than the other. They fill very different spaces for me. - shanebe
Twitter is more specific on micro-blogging. Friendfeed's getting more and more a swiss knife and includes Twitter. - Özer (Wrzl) Dölekoğlu
Twitter is a stream, FF is a river...I seem to get richer content on FF (and I still like Twitter too!)...via feedalizr - Paul David
Each have their strengths. I think the reason folks are getting excited about FriendFeed is because they can have substantial discussions here on FriendFeed. That's one advantage of FF. Twitter is still THE platform for micro-blogging, FF can't match that in it's present state. - Shey, Jamaican of FF
I can Twitter from here without actually going to Twitter for one. FF does what Twitter does and more. FF is also useful in ways Twitter is not, like for keeping track of stuff I've found but don't remember where. - Tanath
Twitter is a top level source, FF is a back channel way to track top level sources. - Soulhuntre from twhirl
When it's up. :P And that's starting to change, with the rooms. - Tanath
More reliable :-) Seriously though, I'm finding the conversations are richer - Duncan Riley
And the conversations are easier to join in on, in my opinion... - Trent Olson
The only thing I like about FriendFeed is the comment system. Conversation moves too quickly in Twitter. - Samir Balwani
Conversation. Speed of Feed updates (I still want to know how they do it). Profile raising ability of mingling with the early adopter crowd - Andrew Garrett from Alert Thingy
It's definitely the immediacy and the coalescing nature of commenting - yes, this *despite* the the whole .comment {color:gray} eye strain. - Micah Wittman
I was scared away from Twitter first by the whole "what am I doing right now" irrelevancy that I assumed came from microblogging, and then by the scaling issues. I never gave Twitter a chance so I shouldn't really be commenting here. :-) - David Muir
Twitter is writing on a wall. FriendFeed is building a wall. - stark
