Update on ReactionGrid maintenance today: http://www.reactiongrid.com/default... - no upgrade this time folks, but still some reboots planned.
@XuguMadison sadly web devs kinda obligated to use all for testing. Personally I'd rather stick with Chrome, save myself a heap of pain :)
IE8 you are a complete fail for me today.
@lucybarrow for poses and basic animation fun, try qavimator - great little program
@jtonline that looks perfect for my servers - I'm always kicking the keyboards and mice under my desk :)
@GreenandWild we regularly schedule full sim backups via OAR files for all regions, but OAR merge is new to 0.6.8 & is full of possibilities
@judyking I'm based in the UK, so I'll happily meet up with you earlier in the day European time for a tour of ReactionGrid :)
@GreenandWild an OAR is a full backup of all objects, textures, scripts and terrain on a region - generated with a single command on console
@GreenandWild Normally when you load an OAR, it replaces the current design with a new design. OAR merge = add archived objects to existing
OAR merge in 0.6.8+ OpenSim is the best feature that's been added for ages - I have been adding pieces to a sim all day! Thanks @justincc :)
Major maintenance planned for ReactionGrid this Thursday morning GMT: http://www.reactiongrid.com/default...
@lucybarrow Meerkat does not back up contents of prims - nothing inside will make it sadly. Need SecondInventory for that
@Dr_Manhattan thanks to our uber backup strategy, land wierdness fixed. You can never take too many backups :)
@mintie @jokay All fixed - never hesitate to drop in a ticket, we're here to help :) Have fun!
@FelixTechie good morning Germany!
Glad I've been paying too much for British Gas Homecare - bad radiator valve explosion, but there's a plumber here now, after 9pm, to fix :)
@Nink yep those features are all in there now - I did a backup of some of my items to XML. More stable than meerkat, but still no voice
@Nink for Mac users Quicktime Broadcaster works a treat. Getting VLC 2 OpenSim to work on Windows is like a black art that few have mastered
@Nink Meerkat project, from what I hear, is now dead - devs moved to Imprudence. Meerkat always very crashy for me, I still love Hippo
@GianninaRossini Yey! We've had a lot of great new members recently bringing in new styles - diversity is refreshing :)
Right brain - gets out mug ready for coffee. Left brain, tidying up kitchen, puts mug in dishwasher. Need coffee, where's my mug... doh!
Working on some Unity fun today when I get spare moments - though Nathan demands Christmas decorations so there's much to do :)
RT @ReactionGrid: 1939 World's Fair December meeting, today at 2pm Pacific / 5pm EST / 10pm UTC, 39FairHQ simulator http://www.reactiongrid.com/default...
@DaveSussman I think I've had this with every version of Outlook since 2000 - sometimes you just gotta clear 'em out and start over
Outlook has stopped processing my email rules. But not all of them, just some of them. The important ones. grr.
Code needs writing, but where...
@azdelslade Freeswitch is limited to non-spatial audio - you need Vivox voice for the spatial functionality, and Vivox not avail for OS yet
@Nink I know you do :) and I have a long line of customers waiting for it, so rest assured, if ever there was a doubt, there's a market!
@Nink Spatial is still only available to those with Vivox, and since that's not available to us, Freeswitch is the only option, non spatial
