I hit blogs without Disqus now and I wonder why they don't have it. Subscribing to followup emails seems a little old hat

kosmar, there's the initial control hurdle to get over, but after that life is much nicer with Disqus. No worries about spam, great looking threaded comments, more participation - Duncan Riley from twhirl
I know right! I don't even bother check-marking the "notify me of follow-up comments" box anymore. - Phil G from twhirl
will i have to lose past comments in my wordpress installation? - kosmar
I would love it if Wordpress.com would switch to Disqus.comments. - Nathaniel Payne
@kosmar You can choose to only apply it to posts with no comments and future posts. - Kevin Bondelli
ah great @kevin - kosmar
That being said, I would really consider moving to IntenseDebate if they integrated with FF - Shey, Jamaican of FF
Yeah, there's that "control thing." I've always been hesitant to tie my sites to outside services. The company which owns Disqus -- stable? Are you comfortable? Your implementation looks great, btw. - Chris Baskind
