I just subscribed, and kept asking myself ?how could I have missed it? I thought all graphic enhancements so far were for Firefox only. Apparently, however, I didn't miss it by more than 2 minutes! Thanks. - ianf ⌘

Fleagle: Just got home and it's fine on my computer. Must have been something odd on the old work computer. - 1x29
I can only see my theme when I'm logged in. Is this how it's suppose to work? - duskstriker
@Bryan It could have been like Orkut, right?? Where you see the user-selected theme on his/her profile page. - अभिषेक(Abhishek) Das

A rare innovator, Michael Jackson is with the divine Angels dancing, singing and moonwalking in delight. May he be blessed for all eternity.

Leo snagged my name and ChiefTWiT for this page. Abby doesn't want her name in case colleges are looking!
Oops, I should have thought of that too! Oh well, facebook.com/ericgeller. - Eric Geller
I'm glad I snagged MATT1604 while I could, but then again, I guess it isn't a very popular moniker. - MλTT
Its weird I am not getting the option to set up my name... maybe facebook doesnt like my iraqi IP address - Nathan McClain
Nathan, apparently some people were having issues with "eligibility". They might have something on one of the support pages or they might say something about it at a later date. - MλTT
@Matt, I hope its today and not later, I would hate to miss the land grab and end up with Nathan1223334444. I am going to go check out the support page now if I can find it - Nathan McClain
Haha, that's the joy of having a fairly unique username for everything (Although, there is some Brazilian guy who owns MATT1604 on YouTube, so I missed out there). I would hate trying to remember something like H4L0_K1D_289923748347 as my GamerTag. - MλTT
@leolaporte got the one I wanted and woke up early enough for it, what did you do to get yours? - lelapin

Hey Leo - Matthew
Leo, Sony let Qore slip early, shows the new PSP Go! ... http://kotaku.com/5273208... - Matthew
Good morning Leo, Mathew - earl wallace
cant hear your caller - Gary Gannon
Any word on when Google Voice will go public? - wjp
Leo I couldn't hear your caller - John Wright
I asked him earlier and he said no word yet. - earl wallace
John Wright, read the red text at the top of the screen - Matthew
Caller audio is muted because the radio stations won't allow it. - Steve Hampton
ah thanks...wasnt watching the video feed - Gary Gannon
"Caller audio muted by request of our stations" ... Ok, I don't understand why. Is there any way I can hear the callers anywhere on the net? - John Wright
The affiliates dont want it and this is how Leo makes his living - earl wallace
You can stream the audio from some radio stations that carry his show. - wjp
AFAIK, you should be able to stream the caller's audio from an affiliate stream - Raymond Mendoza
I think his home station carries the live audio stream. www.kfi640.com - wjp
Try KFI Los Angeles - earl wallace
Ok I get it. Anyone know of a link to a radio station stream playing this ... - John Wright
Thanks!!! - John Wright
YW - wjp
I'm surprised that there isn't a KFI stream within iTunes - Raymond Mendoza
While that would make sense to you and I, radio stations make money from ads on their pages. They need to drive traffic to their sites - not Apples. - wjp
And don't forget - these streams cost money to provide. Each listener costs a few cents per show. - Leo Laporte
I understand that, Leo. I just don't see why they don't recognize the ad sales benefits of the numerous iTunes users who could benefit from an iTunes stream. - Raymond Mendoza
For anyone here who does not know about how to subscribe and support TWIT.tv go to leoville.com and check out the subscription option. - earl wallace
No, I think it's a Twitter thing - Raymond Mendoza
"Monitor and Interact with the Twitter Hive Mind" so no, not related to TWiT - Ryan
FYI, Raymond. Leo's home station does offer "podcast" downloads of their locally produced shows. You just have to go there to get them. I'm not sure if your local affiliate offers any of Leo's archived shows for download. - wjp
wjp - Are they the full show, or are they snippets? - Raymond Mendoza
I have always listened to Leo live. Never downloaded the podcast. I would assume that it is the entire show, but I am not sure. - wjp
wjp - I only ask because my local stations have offered podcasts of the local talent, but it's only been certain segments of said shows. - Raymond Mendoza
I understand. Wouldn't hurt to check it out, though. - wjp
Leo - You can also buy wired and wireless printers that connect to your local router. I have been using the Brother MFC7020-N for quite some time and am very happy. - wjp
Raymond you can view recorded shows at odtv.me - earl wallace
Thank you, earl. The only issue is the odtv.me are the same ones we are watching, here. I did find the KFI podcasts, though. - Raymond Mendoza
I'm not a huge fan of the way KFI has the shows organized, but they are there. - wjp
I think that the caller audio is on those recordings. - earl wallace
Google Wave sounds awesome. From what I understand, Google is trying to create a new foundational internet service (like email and to replace email). I think a lot of this is given away free from Google because they are investing in an overall master-plan business model. - John Wright
This presentation explains what I'm talking about, if your interested. "Everything you always wanted to know about Google…" http://www.techcrunch.com/2008... - John Wright
I am a bit more excited about google voice, but I have no idea when that will be going public. Anyone else here have an idea? - wjp
Leo: What do you think about Google Wave? - Bryan Lee
Yeah, I'm looking forward to that too. No idea when it will open up though. - John Wright
wjp - With the infrastructure that it will take, I doubt that will ever be a public product. I think it will be a constant closed beta. - Raymond Mendoza
wjp - I think it's been in closed beta almost as long as gmail has been in existence (even when gmail was closed beta) - Raymond Mendoza
I think my friend has a Google Voice account. He got it before Google bought the service. It was called Grand Central http://www.grandcentral.com/ - John Wright
John Wright - It was also Grand Central for a while under Google. I had a Grand Central account but never "upgraded" to Google Voice - Raymond Mendoza
The closed beta can be accessed by asking someone who has the service who was issued invites. So far I have not been able to get any ole Grandcentralers to part with one. - earl wallace
my homebrew got blue screen of death, got it back to normal without reinstalling windows, but now internet not working. comp not even detecting network adapter. Please help me leo or chat room!! - Michael
Michael - Did your "homebrew's" motherboard come with a built in ethernet adapter and a CD? - Raymond Mendoza
Ahh so Leo did take my suggestion and started advertising with the bottom thirds :) - Bryan Lee
yes it did, but why would it just stop working? i didnt change anything. also i will try the cd when i get home but if that doesnt work do you have any suggestions? - Michael
Michael - Sometimes it's just "happens". Windows is a very peculiar lifestyle choice. - Raymond Mendoza
ya im trying to switch to linux, but i need windows for my games, my homebrew is a gaming machine - Michael
Michael - I'd try to restart, first. Then, if that doesn't rehash things (XP is funny that way) I'd try reinstalling your network card drivers. - Raymond Mendoza
I like the Epson Ex70... Here is a review of it http://epsonex70multimediaproj... - John Wright
i have restarted multiple times, that fixes most things on my xp laptop, and will reinstall the drivers, i am actually going to format my drive and reinstall, xp is getting sluggish - Michael
Yes... The iPhone is the beginning of the first true handheld computing era... - John Wright
I think we'll see that iPhone VS. Google Android will be like Mac VS. PC all over again in many ways (or it could be) - John Wright
My BB Bold does everything I do on my home PC. Still want an Iphone when 3g comes here - earl wallace
i cant wait for google wave, looks pretty cool and i hear Bing is going to be good too - Michael
I think the G1 is more of an evolutionary step. I have installed Debian Linux on my SD card. The only thing I have yet to try is compiling with GCC. - Raymond Mendoza
the g2 looks good too, check gizmodo for pics - Michael
I didn't get into the powerful cell phones (like BB and Palm, etc) until I got an iPhone 3G, so I can't compare to what came before. But Apple really got it right with the iPhone and App Store. It isn't 100% perfect but it's very good and I see improvement and innovation coming on all fronts (Google, BB, Apple, Palm etc...) mostly because iPhone raised the bar. - John Wright
Studio is 74* Did Leo get AC installed? - Erle Stride
I like the G1's physical keyboard. But I can see Android growing a lot in the next few years. I believe G1 is the only Android phone currently on the market still. But there should be many more Android phones coming out soon. And many many more in the future. - John Wright
John Wright - And that's why when you are two steps ahead of everyone else, you're a martyr. The next set will be one step ahead, and will be innovative. - Raymond Mendoza
No AC yet. - Steve Hampton
I can't wait for an Android Netbook (or notebook) version to come out. I've heard a few people have compiled Android for the EEE pc but it only works on that. - John Wright
John Wright - Try compiling it yourself. Most netbooks run Atom chips, which AFAIK run normal x86 instruction sets (meaning that the netbooks will run anything made to run on a 32 bit PC). - Raymond Mendoza
I agree John, Android would be the ultimate for netbooks - earl wallace
Do any netbooks have touchscreens? That would be great for Android on a netbook. I have an old Fujitsu B3010D with a touchscreen which is similar to a netbook. - John Wright
John Wright - You'd have to write your own Linux drivers, but it wouldn't be impossible - Raymond Mendoza
Raymond Mendoza - Yeah I was looking into compiling it but discovered that the driver issues and such might make it more that want to get into. But yeah, there is probably a good opportunity for someone to come out with a Netbook Android variant. The Ubuntu Netbook Remix seems to say it requires an Atom processor. Do you think it would install on a Pentium M without any issues? - John Wright
John Wright - I'd look into whether or not the Atom is 64 bit or multicore (which I think the answer to both should be no). If the answer is no, and you have enough RAM, it should work. - Raymond Mendoza
Is youtube down for anyone else? - Matthew
not here Mathew .searches there work here - earl wallace
is FF down? I think my internetty is sick today. - Matthew
