While that would make sense to you and I, radio stations make money from ads on their pages. They need to drive traffic to their sites - not Apples.

FYI, Raymond. Leo's home station does offer "podcast" downloads of their locally produced shows. You just have to go there to get them. I'm not sure if your local affiliate offers any of Leo's archived shows for download.

I have always listened to Leo live. Never downloaded the podcast. I would assume that it is the entire show, but I am not sure.

Leo - You can also buy wired and wireless printers that connect to your local router. I have been using the Brother MFC7020-N for quite some time and am very happy.

Google Wave sounds awesome. From what I understand, Google is trying to create a new foundational internet service (like email and to replace email). I think a lot of this is given away free from Google because they are investing in an overall master-plan business model.

Michael - I'd try to restart, first. Then, if that doesn't rehash things (XP is funny that way) I'd try reinstalling your network card drivers.

i have restarted multiple times, that fixes most things on my xp laptop, and will reinstall the drivers, i am actually going to format my drive and reinstall, xp is getting sluggish

I think the G1 is more of an evolutionary step. I have installed Debian Linux on my SD card. The only thing I have yet to try is compiling with GCC.

I didn't get into the powerful cell phones (like BB and Palm, etc) until I got an iPhone 3G, so I can't compare to what came before. But Apple really got it right with the iPhone and App Store. It isn't 100% perfect but it's very good and I see improvement and innovation coming on all fronts (Google, BB, Apple, Palm etc...) mostly because iPhone raised the bar.

I like the G1's physical keyboard. But I can see Android growing a lot in the next few years. I believe G1 is the only Android phone currently on the market still. But there should be many more Android phones coming out soon. And many many more in the future.

I can't wait for an Android Netbook (or notebook) version to come out. I've heard a few people have compiled Android for the EEE pc but it only works on that.

John Wright - Try compiling it yourself. Most netbooks run Atom chips, which AFAIK run normal x86 instruction sets (meaning that the netbooks will run anything made to run on a 32 bit PC).

Do any netbooks have touchscreens? That would be great for Android on a netbook. I have an old Fujitsu B3010D with a touchscreen which is similar to a netbook.

John Wright - You'd have to write your own Linux drivers, but it wouldn't be impossible

Raymond Mendoza - Yeah I was looking into compiling it but discovered that the driver issues and such might make it more that want to get into. But yeah, there is probably a good opportunity for someone to come out with a Netbook Android variant. The Ubuntu Netbook Remix seems to say it requires an Atom processor. Do you think it would install on a Pentium M without any issues?

John Wright - I'd look into whether or not the Atom is 64 bit or multicore (which I think the answer to both should be no). If the answer is no, and you have enough RAM, it should work.
