A BBC TV sow tracking program that mines the social web to find links in-bound to BBC shows, then presents the most popular ones on the front page. Also has a "what's on today" view of TV channels. Looks very good. I was finding www.mightyv.com ok, but not great, this looks better

Original paper on java generics (from 2003?) but note that it's not actually writen by Martin Ordersky who actually came up with java generics in the first place, and went on the write scala. Oh, and he also wrote javac.

"If you find yourself writing way too many ? extends constructs and think you shouldn't need to, you probably should re-think whether you actually want an abstract class or whether an interface would do the job for you."

I read this a year or two back. Well actually I didn't finish it, just skim read it. I'm not a very fast reader, so I found it quite useful to learn ways to digest books without speeding too much time.

This page works in Firefox 3.5 and Safari 4.0. I must admit, when you zoom in it's like a PDF, having great fonts in a web page. Nice. Looking at the CSS it just references the TTF file by URL, so it's quite easy to use.
