If the new version runs old Palm Apps, they already have a great ecosystem - but will need to win back those developers. Mostly, though, I think Palm is dead, which I hate to say because I love them dearly. Treo 680 was last straw for me - poorly made, buggy, brought nothing new or even "3 years ago new". I've been wondering for years why they never did anything with BeOS - that should have been an amazing purchase, but it never amounted to anything. - Dustin

Tyson: Go compare the Foleo specs to most netbooks now on the market and come back and explain how it was a flop. It died because it was ahead of it's time and Palm didn't have the cash to carry it until the market caught on. - Ken Sheppardson

Actually, Tyson, I wouldn't call Foleo a flop - what is it but a proto-Netbook that didn't actually fail in the market, but got sacrificed in a cash crunch? Had Nova debuted on schedule (i.e. years ago), we might be looking at a Netbook market dominated by the Foleo brand. - John Craft
