Crap. RIP Michael Jackson. You were a part of my childhood and your death has more impact on me than I thought it would.
I enjoy emptying my freezer icecube box and then listening to the sound of dice being thrown for the next day or so. Why, hello cabin-fever!
@ovidiup The 3D glasses were the dealbreaker for me. Why do they not have kid-sized 3D glasses for a kids 3D movie??
Just recently realized that odeo.com is pronounced like 'audio' and not like 'rodeo'. I feel a little dumb but surely I am not the only one.
@domideas @dasme Thanks guys. Much appreciated. I think I'll give the non-3D one a try and just be prepared for a waning interest.
Shucks. They *only* had the 3D version. We tried the glasses on my son's face but I couldn't see him lasting 5 minutes let alone the full length of the movie. His first theatre experience will have to wait. - Dylan Parker
Is Pixar's "Up" appropriate for a 2-1/2 year old?
I'm now a daddy twice over! Our little boy *Finn Staveley Parker* was born Sunday June 14th at 7:30PM. Everyone is healthy and happy.

We have some bright orange diapers, but I don't think we have any pictures of Spencer with just a diaper on. Maybe when it gets warmer this summer. - Robert Felty

Wow, major congratulations! Your time off is now going to be put to good use :) - Ovidiu Predescu
I loved instructables.com when they first launched but now hate how they have crippled basic features to encourage you to register.
Registration is free, no? I think the usability and performance is bad, tho. Somebody should implement a slick instructables browser and editor tool, IMHO. I once tried to create an instructable for the world's best mojito, but gave up because the UI sucked so bad. - Shea Phillips
Free registration aside, it seems so petty to remove features like "view this image larger". I agree that even with the features uncrippled navigating an instructable has become so unwieldy that I often lose interest before getting through the hoops. It was pretty good before they tried to track their users and monetize. - Dylan Parker
Sure - the features they require registration for are totally arbitrary and unexpected/random. Also, once you register, the UI still sucks. Having said that, I could still spend hours a day browsing through "how to make a solar cooker" instructables. :) - Shea Phillips
Enlightening video that asks random people in Times Square: "What is a browser?" -- Less than 8% knew what a browser was. http://pleaseenjoy.com/project...

Sending this tweet from my laptop via a tethered iPhone running the new 3.0 system. Perhaps my FIDO 6GB data plan will be useful after all.
Torrent sites should offer recommendations like Amazon. "People who downloaded TorrentA also downloaded TorrentB". Great discoverability.
I am now the proud "owner" of http://www.facebook.com/dy1an... -- that's right, I had to use both a ONE *and* a THREE. Discoverability FTW!
Re-reading Larry Niven's 'Ringworld' on my iPhone. Louis Wu and his motley crew.
Craftsman™ needs a swift kick in the ass. This portable workbench is an utter piece of crap. Donating it and buying a Black&Decker.

Amused by the Google Square for "Google Founders". Sergey appears twice, PageRank and AdWords ($50)... but no Larry. http://www.google.com/squared...
Fido is sending me a replacement iPhone because the phone speaker on this one crackles and distorts. Some hoops, but overall ok support.
Re: iphone sync'ing woes. Found a msg suggesting deleting any podcasts that were only DL'ed via the iPhone. Did it. It worked!
After a few iTunes upgrades without an iPhone sync all I get now is a beachball and an unresponsive iTunes. Ideas?
Kind of relieved that my 40 day old Macbook Pro is past the return date--and a custom configure to boot. Catch you next time around, Apple.
