I'm setting up a stage-production environment where content is edited and approved on stage, and then needs to be pushed to production. Ideas on the best way to do this?
Is it necessary to do it that way? What about just having content contributors put stuff in with the default set to "unpublished". Using roles, editors could be notified there is a post to review and similarly, the final approval gatekeeper could be notified, and then taught to check "published" as part of their business process.

Thanks for your help Laura, but the problem with "unpublished" is then changes to existing pages...a more complete rundown: http://drupal.org/node/363631

I got pointed to revisions_moderate, which solved all my problems. Thank you for taking the time!

Thanks for pointing me to that thread - it's good to know about the options because this seems like a fairly common scenario.

No problem. What I'm discovering with Drupal is that if I want to do anything to dig deep into the module directory and forums.

Is revisions_moderate the same as revision_moderation? I figure that it must be but you never know.

Outstanding! Pro: Amazing "cut through the clutter" image of a real moment. Con: Appear partisan by not publishing the same boring publicity photos that everyone else is.

I made an individual version for myself last year, using TextMarks (which is what this system runs on. I thought about making it into a service, but decided not to invest the time. I'm glad that someone else did. Congrats!
