The scenes between the two that followed were creepy, as Betty gave him Don's shirt to wear, made him food and sat watching TV and holding hands with him, in a warped vision of domestic life. It was hard not to feel tense and uneasy watching this, because it seemed way too possible that something might actually happen between this very young boy and this grown woman. The amazing thing about that is that if it did, even though it would certainly not be condonable, you can actually see emotionally why Betty might do something of the sort, in the wake of what's happened with Don and her father and the painful whirlwind it has put her throu" - ben barren
