"Think about what the Palin pick really says about how McCain views this campaign and how he views his potential responsibilities in national security. Think about what it says about the sincerity of McCain's own central criticism of Obama these past two months in foreign affairs. Think about how he picked a woman to be a heartbeat away from a war presidency who hadn't even thought much, by her own admission, about the Iraq war as late as 2007. Think about how he made this decision barely knowing the woman." - Anthony Citrano
I try but I keep thinking about a man that doesn't know the difference between Memorial Day and Veterans Day, thinks we have 57 states, doesn't perceive Iran as a threat, and wants to expand an already bloated government. - Mattb4rd
Whoa, Matt, you sound even more confused than you allege he is. - Anthony Citrano
Perhaps. He did say all of those things though. Want the youtube links? - Mattb4rd
No thanks, Matt. You can't confuse an occasional mistake with actual underlying thoughts (else both major candidates would be in trouble; e.g. does McCain really think Iran controls Al-Qaeda?). Your Iran comment alone is a bit of a joke. Deciding that military belligerence is not the right approach does not mean he doesn't see Iran as a potential threat. - Anthony Citrano
A drunk man's words are a sober man's thoughts but I digress and give Sen. Obama the benefit of the doubt. Let's see how things pan out as we get closer to November. - Mattb4rd
