FriedFeed - what a superlative typo. See also 'FiendFeed'. - Andy C
For me, it depends on who they are - how interesting they look on first glance. I know we shouldn't make snap judgements, but the quality of our interaction on here is probably how everybody else judges too. It will probably all shake out after a few more months, once the population here has risen enough that it's turned into the same kind of firehose that the "everyone" feed is. Our behaviours will evolve with the size of the network. - Jonathan Beckett
Yeah - I'd quite like the ability to put people in the following categories: 'Probation' - known to post about health issues (I have a runny nose) and bedtimes (Night'all). 'Quarantine' - posted controversial and/or provocative content that irritates and/or annoys. 'Last Chance Saloon' -To be unsubscribed imminently unless saved by a flash of brilliance. 'Dead Pool' - Unsubscribe and automatically hides all his friends and relations. - Andy C
Andy, do you try to read everything ? I did at the start, but I've completely given that up now. Yes, it means that I will miss some gems, but I'll also stay sane. - Michael C. Harris
Would also like 'Mates' for close friends whose content I want and need to scan regardless. - Andy C
Yes. I am constrained by the fact you can only go back 10 pages which is just about right. - Andy C
Now I'm subscribing to you :) - LPH
I am an info junkie that enjoys discussion on a wide vareity of topics. Today if i find a group of individuals who focus on gardening, I will add them, tomorrow if I want to understand social media better I read the key knowledge folks on FF, love photography and so you gotta sub to Thomas, and it just goes on and on. Do I miss things because I have so many subs that i cannot possibly keep up----YES. But I have found that I have addded more folks who specifically cover topics of interest to me, I have less "noise" and more content of interest. I do not sub to everyone, or someone who makes one interseting post, I scan their previous stuff - generally not beyond page 2 though. If they did not convince me by then, I move on. - Ruth Ferguson
