As I have been reading Inhabiting the Church I have been increasingly convinced that the opening remarks by Tim Otto, Jon Stock and Jonathan Wilson-Hartgrove are correct. Believe me.. I wish they weren’t. They make the argument that the Benedictine vows of stability, obedience and conversion are inseparable. I really need to write a full review of this book, because I think it is one of the most significant contributions to the new monastic movement of the last years, and it has powerful implications for the formation of a missional order. - Pat Loughery
