I think people must be more paranoid of public photography in the UK due to all of the recent government propaganda. I've shot photos of my kids in public parks tons of times and have shot in locations with tons of people and kids running around here in Silicon Valley and not once has anyone raised an eyebrow. Often a majority of the other parents in the vicinity are also taking photos of their kids. - Jeff P. Henderson
