We all need to demand more public wi-fi for just this kind of crap. With something like the Eye-fi card pictures can be immediately uploaded to the internet as they're taken. I love the way the photog retrieved the deleted file though. :) Too bad no one was live-casting on qik or ustream though. I'd guess most cops have no clue about those sorts of software either.
