btw, is it more ok for a girl to be a nerd than a guy? Y or N - Mona N.
nerdy girls are teh hotness. - Hao Chen
i thought geeky girls are hot and nerdy ones aren't! - Mona N.
I make no distinction; seems every half generation has their definition set, so screw it - Michael W. May via twhirl
Amen Hao. I'm married to a very nerdy girl. Lucky guy I am! - Tad - the Meme Maker
Geek > Nerd > Dork - Hutch Carpenter
Geek + Nerd + Dork = hnot ....? (hnot = mix b/w hot and not) - Mona N.
You are smart, you are hot, you are into scifi, you are hotter, continue with this pattern until my hot meter breaks - Michael W. May via twhirl
Geek > Nerd > Dork > Dweeb - Tad - the Meme Maker
i'm at home on a pseudo friday night googling Legos and Star Wars. hair up and glasses on... seriously. that's SO not hot LOL - Mona N.
geek > nerd > dork > dweeb > goober - Mona N.
No, Mona - that's hawt to us nerds. Heh - Tad - the Meme Maker
HA! tho geek girls are like the new pink... ugh. everyone's claiming to be a geek now - Mona N.
hehe, I am continually amazed at many women seem to have no idea how hot the everyday and ordinary can be, at least when it themselves and not others. - Michael W. May via twhirl
As our society slowly transitions away from a relatively strict patriarchy to something, else - our ideas of what's sexy are constantly shifting. - Tad - the Meme Maker
I used to shun "geek" in favor of "nerd" because geek conjured pictures of scary carnies and beheaded chickens. But I finally gave in to it when I realized that I was so much nerdier than most of the (generally technical) guys I knew and worked with that I had pretty much crossed over to geek. - Lindsay Donaghe
I think the diversity of porn on the internet is empirical proof that it doesn't matter what label you want to put on yourself: someone, somewhere, is going to be into it. - Mark Trapp
So on the dweeb-o-meter you'd say: nerd > geek > dork...? - Mona N.
I'm a tech guy - Bwana McCall
and Lindsay, I agree. I work in computers and my hobbies include anything that has an ON/Off switch.... =\ - Mona N.
I'm a TechKid... - Chacha via twhirl
Tech guy/kid... as in the IT guy/kid...? - Mona N.
I like Nerds! Was a Geek anyway? Scoble? - Igor The Troll
Well, aren't we all? :D - Mavericks of A-sauce!
@Mona ... Only 14 .. so I think that qualifies me as a TechTeen.... yeah that works - Chacha via twhirl
14 (!!!!) isn't it past your bedtime?! - Mona N.
sorry, TOTALLY not meant in a rude way... i can't even remember when *I* was 14... HA - Mona N.
Oh, young Padawan...you are still a tech tween! - Hao Chen
I wonder if it's more ok for girls... my sis sure didn't always have it easy because there were few other women who shared her interest in games and anime; I never had those problems because there were plenty of white and nerdy guys around me. Could be lonely in the "same sex friends who share my interests" department. That said, it might be easier for nerdy girls to get laid... :P - Michael Leuker
LOL @ the last sentence (!) anyway it actually kinda sucks cuz after the novelty wear off i end up being TOO geeky / nerdy for a lot of the people i date... not even kidding. - Mona N.
I have yet to experience things to that extreme... can't hurt to get your world rocked though ;-) - Michael Leuker
Can one be both? - l0ckergn0me
Ok, so I am not Geek, not Nerd, but a Troll. Hard Core Hacker! http://catb.org/~esr/ So what do I hack? I hack Society because it is FUBAR - Igor The Troll
Another TechTween - it's hard to find Nerd guys at this age, much less nerd girls :( - Yuvi
Adjectives of such nature can gain significance only if social approval matters for their existence in the first place. I'm just a man. - Parth Awasthi
More so a disclaimer than social approval. It gives people the heads up of the intensity ;) - Mona N.
I rather be a geek than a nerd any day. Geeks are just overly obsessive about something like tech or gaming, whereas nerds are plainly socially awkward. - Alan Le
hmmmmm so maybe I'm a nerdy geek and not a nerd. note: nerd as an adj. and not a noun ;) - Mona N. via fftogo
