Maybe after success in science, they want to exercise their other talents. Like Sandy Lerner who co-founded Cisco, then after leaving Cisco, founded Urban Decay cosmetics. - Daisy
Daisy, that is a very good point. I can think of a lot of women who have many talents, and explore each in turn. But the disturbing part about the article is that they suggest that it is at the point that they could step up to direct their own research that they bow out. - Clare Dibble
