Ben: you define yourself by who you follow. I really don't care if you are following me. That is NOT how I define myself. Have fun, I'm going to do what I do, you do what you do. - Robert Scoble
The question you have to ask yourself then is: Why are you following Scoble if it annoys you so much? - Rick Powell
The "real estate" comes from friendfeed and is sort of irrelevant to the Twitter blame game imho. - Lisa Thompson
just posted that FF was turning into ScobleFeed - Ivan Pope via twhirl
lol @ ivan :) - kosso via twhirl
and Scoble don't be so rude, it's an issue - Ivan Pope via twhirl
Well, isn't part of the problem that you see friends of friends? Even if you don't follow someone directly you can still end up seeing them all over the place... I'm kind of new to this and I can see that Scoble's ubiquity is kind of a running gag, but it honestly is getting very slightly annoying. Please don't flame me too much, Scoble fans. - Kamilah Gill
Is there an option to scale back comments? It's not fun to have to scroll and scroll and scroll past a topic that does not interest me. I don't think the gray helps either, Scoble should be in full technicolor! - Mike Lewis
yes, there are two strategies. 1. Don't subscribe to people you don't want to follow. 2. Hide any cluster that comes up that you don't want to see again. 3. There's some way to turn off the friends of a friend. I forget how. - Robert Scoble
to hide friends of friends click hide and then click the "see more options..." and then select "hide all friends of friends" - Robert Seidman
I say hide away Ben! Glad to see folks are using the hide feature. But you also shouldn't complain about noise. I don't see the need to let folks know you're hiding their stuff. - Shey
What if I don't want to hide *all* friends of friends, though? It's not a major issue at this point for me personally, I just can understand how it's bugging some other people. - Kamilah Gill
People make fun of Scoble and twitter. Don't want the conversation? Don't follow Scoble. - Andrew Ruess
