We have a small second toilet that was originally painted light blue. One day, I came home and it was painted in a rather fetching 'tan' colour. My wife asked me what I thought and I instinctively blurted out 'God - it's horrible. It looks like the H-block dirty protest (where IRA prisoners daubed their cells with excrement).' She nodded and said 'Hmm - I agree and it's not quite what I expected for 'butterscotch''. The next day, I came back and the toilet was completely repainted (white). - Andy C
