Jason, the USD Index has crept back up to 79. It's not a foregone conclusion that hyperinflation is the endgame. We could well end up in a depression when all of Paulson and Bernanke's reflationary measures fail. Because I do not know which scenario will play out, I actually do hold precious metals and cash in equal measure. - Morton Fox

well I live in the home I grew up in, aside from a small loan ($14K) it is free, assuming I keep my jobs I should be able to maintain the $215 pmt. Today was the first time that it really hit me how blessed I am to have the home and I said a prayer of thanks to God and my parents. For sometime I have felt down about not moving. So now three years after my Mom's death I guess it is time to focus on transforming this from my parent's home to mine. My car is paid off. Had planned to get a new one in Jan, but that is out the window now. - Ruth Ferguson
