Mike - agree that Facebook has more... but FriendFeed doesn't need that stuff. Photos, discussions, blogs, events, etc all are "in" FriendFeed in the sense that you can see them and then go interact with the direct source (Upcoming, Flickr, etc). Marco, if the information is people's birthday's yes Facebook is information, but I only use it to communicate (almost entirely with people I know), never to find new or interesting material. Friendfeed on the other hand is all about information. - Deepak
Great insight, Steve. I've been thinking for some time that FriendFeed is the stripped-down-for-performance version of Facebook. The Facebook news feed is, for me, its most appealing feature, and FriendFeed is a turbocharged news feed. FB is good for entertainement. FF not. We're not poked on FF. I think they are very different. On FB you see what people write on their superwall, on FF you see what people doing on the web.
