I already have replaced TechMeme with FriendFeed on all my home pages. - Robert Scoble
I'm just struggling to figure out how to juggle between google reader, friendfeed and twitter. I'm constantly asking questions such as do I stop following people twittering and just use friendfeed with imaginary friends? or, Do I just watch friendfeed in google reader and filter with yahoo pipes...etc etc.etc.. - Phil Ashman
I don't know about everyone else, but I only have a finite amount of time to devote to online activities so it does seem like I give up time on one service in order to spend time on another service. I alway find it interesting though when people say they love a particular service but then immediately want it to change in all kinds of ways. - Seek Ground
I think liking a service and wanting to improve it, seeing its potential are very consistent. :) As long as it isn't a fundamental change to the service, y'know? To a large degree my internet time is a zero sum game - which is why I really appreciate new services and features that let me use that time more efficiently! - felix
@felix - but sometimes the "improvements" that are made move reduce how much I like a particular service especially when the changes cause the service to lose mission focus - Seek Ground
Seek Ground, definitely agree. Any changes need to be evolutionary - making the service more useful in the same way it is currently useful, not simply adding on tangential features. But I think aggregating by link would be very much in keeping with the focus of FF and would help condense the feed as well - always good to help with info overload as well as grouping the discussion! :) - felix
FriendFeed will keep adding features because they want to draw in more users, all those users are potential revenue later on when they find a way to monetize the site. Hopefully they will maintain the simplicity and ease of use that the site has now. I don't want to be overloaded with features I never use and tons of ads. - Devin Anderson
