Yes, I rather thought so, too. An unfashionable position, and I respect him for speaking out about it. Sadly not limited to science (as a good friend of mine can attest only today), but good on Dr Gannon for his passionate "rightheadedness". - Maxine
I agree with Bill - there is a lot more of this about than people are comfortable with admitting. Good to see people being honest and straightforward about it in print. - Cameron Neylon
