$18 million? Now that's a website budget you could really do something fancy with. http://blogs.abcnews.com/thenote... (via @dvdsmpsn)
Anyone else silently judge a site that uses MapQuest instead of Google Maps? Seems to add a sheen of "hoopty" to a site. (via @james_hafner)
Oscar Meyer died yesterday. Where are all the retrospectives and star-studded tributes!? #fb
Chrome OS is a minor waypoint on a long road away from the desktop, one that has nothing to do with the web, Google or netbooks. (via @al3x)

Although otherwise I have to say the bit.ly API is nice, simple, and very well-behaved. Thanks!!
REST API developers: Don't force case-sensitivity. If your API is currently case-sensitive, please fix it! (I'm looking at you, bit.ly.)
Annoyed by a slew of new Twitter porn spammers following me this morning. #block #block #block
