Why do good ideas come to us when they do? Fantastic article from my favorite magazine (The New Yorker) dissects the physiology of the insight experience. Also sums up why the current academic grind many scientists are experiencing is counter-productive: "if you're in an environment that forces you to produce and produce, and you feel very stressed, then you are not going to have any insights." - Maureen
