Meanwhile, my brother thinks it is a myth and called his congressman this week over the bill that just passed the house. (sigh)

This looks suspiciously similar to Twitter's growth curve. Coincidence? I think not.
- Ken Sheppardson
Yeah, I know it's a completely different time scale.. but I still say it's suspicious.

Too bad we don't have data prior to 1880....then we could make an informed judgement about this data.
- Sean McGee
True... this could be a bit like trying to project a stock's price based on nothing but a plot of 2 days of data. Maybe when you look at the 10,000 yr plot you see peaks like this every 1000 years or so. I'm so confused... ;-)

For more historical data ice core data from glaciers is another source for global temperatures and atmos. co2 content.

Just when there seems to be something of a anti-climate change mini-bubble in the media... this thing is pretty hard to refute, you'd have to think. And by the way, Ken's comment about Twitter's growth curve is hilarious!

it's 30 degrees Celsius each day in London this week and unbearable

Just added my posterous rss feed to FriendFeed. Blog + posterous + Google Reader shared + Twitter --> FriendFeed is a very nice way to round out a social media presence I'd say.
Heck yeah posterous! I have really only been using it as an email dump but it's a nice complement to the rest of your services. Maybe I'll start putting rich media stuff up on mine as well...
- Daniel J. Pritchett
You know Posterous added FriendFeed to the Autopost? It works just like adding the RSS feed
- Outsanity
I'm looking forward to using posterous as an easy way to share stories/videos while I'm cruising around the webs. The nice thing too is that it's quick, casual, super efficient and I don't have to stick within the "confines" of any particular blogging topic.
- Eric Berlin
Outsanity, I just added the posterous rss feed as though it were a blog feed and it seems to be working just fine thus far.
