Finding that balance--challenging the context & yet still "normal"--is a key to change that will sustain itself after the coach is gone.
Coaching & other efforts have to conform just enough (& no more) to the context be perceived as "normal" under everyday circumstances...
When coaching & other efforts are seen as "weird" or "special" they won't last. We must challenge the context while working within it...
