Eclipse Versus XCode
I have this long running tool shootout going in my head between XCode and Eclipse. I love XCode for its type ahead/auto completion feature which is addictive, I wish Eclipse had this. - Ed Millard
I HATE how XCode manages windows, it is non stop chaos opening and closing windows and moving them around. I love Eclipse for managing the chaos and keeping everything in one window. - Ed Millard
I like XCode's file stack most of the time, just using arrows to move between recently edite files, slightly better than Eclipse using tabs. This one is close but the down side with tabs is you have to regularly clean them out or it becomes impossible to find things and I find myself cleaning them out a lot. - Ed Millard
Eclipse has no Objective C++ support at all, and Objective C support is in its infancy which pretty much kills using it for Cocoa/iPhone development. - Ed Millard
Ideally I wish Eclipse had type ahead/auto completion and full Objective C/Cocoa support and I would probably never use XCode again. - Ed Millard
But, Interface Builder rules for prototyping and building UI. Wish there was something like cross platforms and GUI toolkits in Eclipse but it would be hard to do. - Ed Millard
@Jesse There is snapimpact.org out of Boulder, it does apps to promote local volunteering.
Lol, OK its Vivek Wadhwa, he is right on about venture capital, they take to much credit and don't do much positive.
