Michael, I read your blog post about how the SSD is configured. I am thinking you might get some more space on that C drive if you reinstalled XP customized with nLite.
Yes, I'm going to have to do something, because I've run into my first real problem - the C: drive doesn't have enough space on it to allow the Service Pack 3 update to run. I either to to trim the size of the Windows directory or move it to another drive.

“Well, I found Project 2003 on the Web for $28 through Google, and at a highly rated store. So I put in my order for it and will try installing that on my Eee 900.” - http://friendfeed.com/e...
Installed Office 2003 and Visio 2003 on my Eee 900 without any problems. However Project 2007 won't install, complaining about being unable to access some Windows files. Could it be that Project 2007 simply won't work on XP Home? Now all I need to do is see if I can find a copy of Project 2003.
Well that's interesting - the Asus 900 documentation seems to imply that the notebook can't support an external monitor resolution of over 1024X768, yet I' am hooked up right now to my HP 17" widescreen monitor at 1440X900 resolution. Isn't that interesting?!?!
This way programs will be installed on my 8GB internal SSD, rather than the 4GB SSD, which is the default setup. Changing My Documents to the 16GB SDHC card takes pressure off both internal SSD drives

The keyboard and screen on the Asus 900 are bigger than those on my Kohjinsha SH6 UMPC, although normal screen res is 1024 X 600 on both (at Cross Lanes, WV, USA) - http://brightkite.com/objects...
Hi, I just created this room. I've got an Eee 900 XP PC on order from Amazon and expect delivery sometime this week. I'd like to use this forum as a way of discussing the most effective use of this PC. Please join in with any postings or comments you feel appropriate. Thanks!
By the way, if you've installed XP on an Eee PC that was originally running Linux, please feel free to post your experiences and ideas here, too.
