Time to shovel snow. Again.
I am polluting the Wave
@lcboehms I suspect imperfect butter technique. Also, the dough never looks right. Next time, I'll take pictures of the dough, biscuits.
@lcboehms no. recipe is 2c flour, 1/2t salt, 2t baking powder. I know this sounds odd, but they both rise and are dense at the same time
Today: e-mail, calls, snowcare and, due to a household carb gap, biscuit-baking. Need to intern with biscuit pro; they're still not fluffy.
@lcboehms got it. will try that next time!

@OakParkerr Working from home means there are rarely snow days. But you all enjoy if you get one!
@OakParkerr Sorry about that. We used to get them in Philadelphia, but it required crazy weather to get them.

@raypage yay for conference calls (keep our germs to ourselves)
We are a sick crowd on this conference call.
@BrianPlain true. if you add together Google Reader and Seesmic, where I probably would hear even faster, one could rule the galaxy
People could achieve world domination using solely the time I spend in Google Reader.
Late notice: David Eddy came to @RWJF today to talk about Archimedes and @susanpromislo and @stephenjdowns tweeted it
Google Chrome is *fast.* Let's see if it can survive my 20-browsers-at-a-time work habits.
@susanpromislo yay! saw OK stuff at One of A Kind -- never made it to the Renegade holiday show due to parking, Xmas tree chores
Insights on crowdsourcing from Innocentive: part 3 of 5 - http://workingwikily.net/...
Money quote: I would cast it open each time I had a concrete question to ask. That’s what separates successful users of open systems from the unsuccessful ones: a well-articulated challenge. The challenge needs to allow people to see where the skills they have can be applied to the problem. That doesn’t mean aiming it squarely at a certain skillset, because then you’re back to digging in the pit of closed innovation but on a massive scale. There’s an art to challenge-writing that I didn’t appreciate when we launched the company. - Emily Culbertson
