@WeatherWes It could be 100% overcast at 5000 MSL or it could be 100% overcast at 800 AGL. One will permit #787FF, the other won't.

@WeatherWes except without any ceiling data in the forecast it's less useful than the KPAE TAF. A 'sky cover' % means nothing in aviation.

@flightblogger there's always the chance that it will clear up for the #787FF, but from what I know about KPAE's weather it's unlikely.

Strange, KPAE runway 11/29 is still closed per NOTAM, but they forgot to tell the tower. At least a dozen arrivals and departures last week!

Wondering if the forecast snow at KPAE tomorrow morning will happen. Full student load all week, might be up during 787 first flight!
