wow...for some reason (I guess because of the L's in Leo's name) I read this as "No Leprechaun Left Behind" - Sean McGee
All I can gather is that it has something to do with marching on the drumline - ♫ Rahsheen™
The press called him the "Maverick" back in 2000 because he wasn't (at the time) what you would expect from a Republican...he was pretty moderate compared to Bush back then... - Sean McGee
If you criticise him for his spelling mistake, the terrorists win! So keep quiet you unpatriotic people! LOL!! :-) - Mark O'Neill
Is this what you do all day Mr. Laporte? Surf the Internet looking for ways to look down on your fellow Americans because their political views differ from yours? It's a shame TechTV/G4 fired you. You might just have the right level of maturity to host Hurl. Nah, maybe you're not that mature... - Laura Smith

I enjoy listening and watching Leo, Dvorack, etc. when it comes to technology discussions. The more I see the higher echelon of FF and Twitter talk about politics, the more I wish there was a filter I could apply. I mean, this was just a funny picture that gives Obama supporters another means to look down on people who do not support Obama, but I've seen Dvorack's outrageous blog post about Palin's children, and I've read Scoble's mistatements regarding Huckabee's speech at the convention. - Charles LePage
Perhaps if one admires mavericks, one spells words whatever way one wants. - jswi_jim
The democrats' signs were much slicker. With every speaker at the DNC they passed out new ones -- there were hillary ones, biden ones, michelle etc. all beautifully printed on nice sanded sticks. Not a hand painted sign in the crowd, all the perfectly the same, and no chance for a misspelling. Good stagecraft. The hand painted signs make me cringe from a design/spell check pov, but they are authentic. - Jay Tannenbaum
What is this? The Republican Friendfeeders coming in to comment swiftboat style? Lighten up for Christ's sake! Obviously you've yet to discover what a sense of humour is. Let me know when you find one and I'll teach you how to install it. - Mark O'Neill
Geez, Mark, maybe you could lighten up a little. The Republicans were commenting on the headline, which was perhaps uncharitable and directed at them. I think Leo is great, and I think Dvorak has no problem taking care of himself. They are completely entitled to their opinions outside the world of tech. That's why I subscribe to them. We live in a great country, don't we? - Jay Tannenbaum
Misspelling and bad grammar goes across the board, even at MoveOn (http://skitch.com/chilimac/i87...). I've been known to make a mistake once in a while my self. I know, shocking. Maybe that will be the next big tech idea. Electronic campaign posters with built in spell checker. - ChiliMac
I read a medical report once that read "cervical dysphasia" - it was supposed to indicate "cervical dysplasia" epic phail typo. No, it was not my cervix. :) - Mattb4rd
Matt: Some new kind of ventriloquism or lack thereof? - Jay Tannenbaum
If I'm ever around one that talks, I will run. - Mattb4rd
Mark, from Wikipedia: "Swiftboating is American political jargon that is used as a strong pejorative description of some kind of attack that the speaker considers unfair or untrue—for example, an ad hominem attack or a smear campaign. Most accurately, it refers to the repudiation of a politician's personal history by people who were present as that history was made." Does the speaker (Leo) consider my comment to be untrue? - Charles LePage
if he's maverick whose goose ?his lady friend he just hooked up maybe. LOL. - nick
I think one of my favorite aspects of this is the fact that upon finishing the song, they don't stick around at all. The term 'scatter!' comes to mind. Fantastic. - EJ Finneran
Fascinating article on the "demographic inversion" happening in cities like Chicago. More complex than gentrification, more akin to the demographic composition of European cities. - John
I was thinking about this fanvid thing today... does this qualifies as copyright infringement? Or just the act of writing that the video is not for profit and that all copyrights belong to the creators of Dr. Horrible makes it ok? Dr. Horrible is making me think a lot about this kind of thing... like, for example, if I make my own Dr. Horrible t-shirt (painting or whatever) does this qualifies as copyright infringement? (since the right thing to do would be buy the original one) - Dani Figueiredo
Oh, and yeah, nice video! =] ... loved the song. - Dani Figueiredo
I know you can't compare markets directly but that sounds like a great deal compared to the minimum spend contract on offer with o2 in the UK. Having trouble loading the Rogers site to compare the deals directly. Lots of pre-orders being placed I guess :-). - Ben
Well, it's a start, at least. I really wish that Rogers would offer a reasonable explanation for their actions. So far, all they've managed to do is spew fluff such as "normal users won't really use that much", etc. - Bradley McSpinn
finally - thanks for not sucking rogers. - Cole Orton
Just be aware that the $30 is only the data plan; If I read this correctly, there's plenty of other charges that will be applied to owning that phone. (e.g. voice plan, caller ID, etc.) - Karnatos
@Cole: Rogers still sucks. It's still a 3-year contract and that's only a promotion. They should remove the time bomb! - Long Nguyen
still not gonna buy one, the 30 dollars only applies to data and i'm sure the voice plans still suck - Chris Jones
