A great way to destress yourself from work or from life in general is to call on friends or family. Pick someone you truly enjoy being with and call them up, have a conversation, or ask them to get together. - elizabeth

Let's talk about Destressing our thoughts. My question is, do you believe that you have to be thin to be successful? I am in Southern California a lot and it is a common belief among men and women that you must be thin to be successful. - elizabeth

There are so many ways to Destress Yourself. One of the most instantaneous ways is to learn a stress management technique I call the pause button. Literally, you pause everything from your thoughts to your emotions to your physical tension in your body. This is so easy to do but it takes discipline. - elizabeth

After many years of teaching stress management, listening to peoples’ stress related problems, and compiling information related to stress, it is my conclusion that the number one sign of stress is denial. A sign is what the observer can see and a symptom is what the individual describes. Therefore, if the number one sign of stress is denial then the number one key to destress yourself is the ability to have an open mind. When we have an open mind we are teachable and willing to learn from others. - elizabeth
