elkos on Is there a news source from your country that makes you proud because of its neutrality? - http://www.reddit.com/r...
"Considering that most Greeks of my age (30's) understand English fairly well, I think you are fairly right. There was a time that BBC had a Greek language section too, which was quite neutral. I really enjoyed it." - Eleftherios Kosmas

"I believe that Russia together with the EU have to coordinate to bring stability in the region. Personally I believe that both parties have to gain from co-operation over the Ukraine. It would give them a better understanding and perspective for further co-operation in the future. I believe that in some part of Russia is more "European" than many other countries that EU co-operates" - Eleftherios Kosmas

elkos on What "killer apps" do you think Firefox should include in its desktop & mobile browsers? - http://www.reddit.com/r...
"Well I am really interested in the idea of using WebRTC for P2P applications like: CDN: Like PeerCDN and SwarmCDN are using it Proxies and Anonymity: like uProxy and Tor Flashproxies Filesharing: Like Filetea Publisizing: Like Peerserver I believe that all these technologies are not only really interesting their inner workings seem consistent with Mozilla's Manifesto for an open web." - Eleftherios Kosmas

elkos on What "killer apps" do you think Firefox should include in its desktop & mobile browsers? - http://www.reddit.com/r...
"A couple of stuff I consider useful: * Shumway should be pre-installed if implemented * https-everywhere pre-installed too cause it's awesome. * I would like the private sessions to use by default technologies similar to the Tor browser, I know it needs a lot of work but heck it would be awesome wouldn't it? * I would really like to see something like everything.me in the browser but I have no clue how this could be implemented * use of WebRTC to provide a decentralised web infrastructure controlled only by the users" - Eleftherios Kosmas

elkos on Economic state of households in Greece - http://www.reddit.com/r...
"Sorry in advace for my biased view of the issue at hand, as a Greek that hasn't being paid over 3 months due to financial and organisational issues of the state overseen research fund that currently employs me. I am really concerned on the long term impact of the Greek austerity measures in European economy as a whole. I understand that Greece is not a huge economy like say Italy, but I believe that in a monetary union the issue at hand is that the we should mitigate the socioeconomic impact of such measures in local and European level as well. Having said so we have to admit that although paychecks and retirement have greatly decreased the proposed organisational changes don't seem to be implemented as promptly." - Eleftherios Kosmas
