Second Calendar Curator Joins to Help with List of Free Webinars : eLearning Technology - http://elearningtech.blogspot.com/2009...
"It is exactly because we can distribute the load of keeping this list current that makes me think this will work really well in the long run." Tony's model is instructive. He is the curator for this topical hub: http://delicious.com/eLearni.... There he has currently included two ICS feeds. The first is maintained by his own organization, TechEmpower. The second is maintained by another organization, Coaching Ourselves. This is an interesting twist I hadn't thought of. Nice! - Jon Udell
Jon - you lost me on your comment. Isn't this the whole point? - Tony Karrer
"Isn't this the whole point?" Yes, the whole point is to decentralize and distribute the work. But I was thinking that a solo curator gathers multiple feeds, each of which comes from a single source -- like a school, or a musical venue. Your model is more like a two-level affair. The solo curator gathers top-level feeds, but each of those feeds can in turn be managed by a curator who gathers events from many sources. - Jon Udell
