My mom, 4 and a half years cancer free. At each successive checkup, I look forward to, rather than dread, hearing the results. Each time, I am so grateful for the doctors, nurses, and medical staff she has worked with along the way, especially the specialist she worked with at Virginia Mason. Hasn't been easy, but so worth it <3
You know that thing where your teeange daughter still grins from ear to ear when you sing happy birthday to her and still closes her eyes like she did when she was 6 when blowing out a couple of candles you put on a slice of cake left over from her real party?
Yolanda. Because she sent me an awesome collage. And, because I just love her. Although I don't really engage on ff anymore, I will always be grateful for the folks I met here and truly happy for all their love, health, and success. I'm still so tickled Yo found love and is gonna be a momma soon. :)
