just testing the Linux on Acer Aspire (linpus - default one, not Ubuntu Remix etc) and our VLE ...
... think I need to sort out Java versions! (Though Firefox seems happy that I have it, just the VLE isn't so sure...)

Been reading about Chrome OS. If you can't install *anything* (other than browser) what happens when no connectivity? Does it have G. gears?
