I do use LinkedIn because it's good networking. I use FriendFeed and Twitter (but the majority of my twitter is all mobile). Lately I've been an addict to Geeks.Pirillo.com but I hate mySpace, Facebook and most other networks. It's your website, your blog and your platform. Change it, move it and mold it to reflect who you are. - Candace

The same rules apply to both online and offline relationships, and the extroverted, outgoing people are always going to have a leg up. It's interesting the paradoxical nature of social media, though: other social norms, like real names, are far less applied. - Mark Trapp

Honestly? I avoided it like a plague. Another MySpace/Facbook type network. DO NOT WANT! But...I got convinced to give it a shot and I'm glad I did. It's a very small network of just a few thousand people. Leave the kids on the forums alone and hit the groups. You'll find your own. It's a fabulous little place. - Candace
